Product developments are inspired either as a result of customer requests, market research or by co-operation with Universities & Research Laboratories.
Design tools include a 3D Computer Aided Design facility, Finite Element Analysis software & a proven electrical design software package that allows design specialists to quickly match motor & load characteristics to provide the optimum solution to any drive problem.
We presently have several specifically commissioned & customer specific design projects in the mining & water industries to develop new concepts & drive solutions.
We have recently completed a large project to design & manufacture a new large direct drive system for offshore oil & gas exploration. The hazardous area prototype machine is presently on test off the coast of the United States.
